Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluative procedures and assess home environments.
- Identify speech defects and establish care plans.
- Administer speech therapy and recommend communication aids.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
- Maintain clinical records and competency.
- Instruct patients and families on treatment regimens.
- Participate in quality improvement and orientation activities.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology with internship.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA.
- Minimum one year of clinical experience.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license and understanding of hospice care philosophy.
