Job Description

The Charge Nurse is responsible for direct clinical supervision, coordinating daily unit operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards during their shift. Key responsibilities include:

• Facilitating patient placement and staff assignments.
• Providing direct patient care as needed.
• Serving as a clinical resource and promoting evidence-based practice.
• Ensuring staff accountability and performance improvement.
• Assisting in performance appraisals and risk management.
