We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our dedicated healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the preparation and serving of nutritious meals to our patients, while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. Duties:

– Assist with food preparation and meal planning, ensuring that all meals meet dietary needs and preferences.
– Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
– Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages to patients and staff.
– Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed.
– Assist with patient meal requests and special dietary needs.
– Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure that meals meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
– Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, maintaining a positive and respectful attitude towards patients and staff.
– Manage time effectively to ensure that meals are served promptly and efficiently.
– Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures to prevent contamination and foodborne illness.
– Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in dietetics and nutrition, applying this knowledge to inform food preparation and meal planning.

Experience:

– Previous experience in food preparation or a related field is highly desirable.
– Knowledge of dietary principles and practices is essential.
– Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred.
– Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations is necessary.
– Proven time management and organizational skills are essential for this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $13.25 per hour
