Job Description
A Registered Professional Nurse delivers patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. They prescribe, delegate, supervise, and evaluate patient teaching and ancillary staff while maintaining professional standards.
Must be a graduate of a State Board School of Nursing or equivalent.
Current RN license in the state or a Compact license; BLS certification required within 2 weeks of hire; nephrology certification preferred.
Requires 2 years of dialysis nursing experience or nephrology certification.
Must be action-oriented, collaborative, customer-focused, adaptable, self-aware, an effective communicator, and able to make timely decisions.
Works under supervision from the Clinical Nurse Manager Dialysis.
Performs in a clean, well-lit, smoke-free environment, handling emergency situations with physical demands including prolonged standing, moving patients, and extensive reaching.
Must have normal or corrected vision and hearing, manual dexterity, and physical strength to manage patient care and equipment.
