Job Location: California

Type of Facility: Hospital (Outpatient Department)

Length of Assignment: 26 weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Roles and Responsibilities:

– Conduct patient evaluations and assessments

– Develop and implement treatment plans for outpatient orthopedic patients

– Treat a diverse patient population, including all ages, with conditions such as back pain, knee and hip issues, post-operative care, sports injuries, and general orthopedic concerns

– Document patient progress and forward information to other therapists as needed

– Modify treatment plans based on patient progress and needs

– Collaborate with a team of 2-3 physical therapists, PTAs, and support staff

– Utilize standard physical therapy equipment, including parallel bars and dual pulley systems

– Manage a caseload of 10-12 patients per shift

Requirements:

– Valid California Physical Therapy license

– BLS and CPR certifications

– Outpatient experience preferred (new graduates may be considered)
