Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. 5:00 p.m. (With some flexibility)
1 Saturday requirement every 5-6 weeks.
This position will include admitting patients in the five counties served by Kansas City Hospice: Johnson, Wyandotte, Leavenworth, Douglas & Miami, in addition to occasional admits in Missouri.
The candidate will also support RN Case Managers in a float capacity by making periodic nursing visits in the home setting.

Position Description:
The RN Float/Admission nurse reports to a Kansas City Hospice Team Manager. He/she is responsible for making visits as needed to support the IDT in providing care to patients and families. This position is expected to develop competence and work as needed throughout the organization.
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Requirements:
Current Kansas and Missouri RN license.
Minimum of one year experience in caring for actively dying patients preferred.
Home Health or Hospice experience preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Licensed drivers with reliable transportation and auto insurance.
CPR certification required.
Good interpersonal and communications skills are required.
