Job Description

Type of Facility: Hospital (In-patient Rehabilitation and Acute Care)
Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks
Start Date: Immediately
Work Schedule: Variable weekend shifts
Roles and Responsibilities:
– Conduct patient evaluations and treatments in in-patient rehabilitation, focusing on neuro and ortho patients
– Perform evaluations and treatments in acute care settings, including Ortho, Telemetry, and ICU
– Provide wound care services
– Float to other units as needed
– Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Requirements:
– Valid Texas Physical Therapy license (no temporary licenses allowed)
– Current BLS certification
– Minimum 2 years of hospital experience
– In-patient rehabilitation and/or hospital experience required
– Wound care experience required
