We are currently seeking an experienced oral surgery, dental assistant to join our team and contribute to the continued success of our practice.

Responsibilities:
Assisting the oral surgeon during dental surgeries and procedures, including extractions, implant placements, bone grafting, and biopsies
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols
Taking and developing dental x-rays, 3D scans, and digital images as required by the oral surgeon
Educating patients on pre-operative and post-operative care instructions, including medication usage, diet restrictions, and oral hygiene practices
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment details, in accordance with HIPAA regulations
Assisting in maintaining and ordering dental supplies, equipment, and inventory

Requirements:
1 year of experience as a dental assistant required
X-ray certification required
Oral surgery experience preferred
Familiarity with Dentrix, or other dental software systems preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $22.00 per hour
