We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN to join our team at Inpatient Behavioral Hospital-Lutcher. As an RN in our hospital, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient. Your attention to detail and ability to think critically will be essential in this role. Ultimately, you will play a crucial role in helping our patients achieve optimal health outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:

Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Louisiana
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
BLS certification
At least 1 year of experience in an acute care setting

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in behavioral health nursing
Certification in psychiatric nursing
ACLS certification

Responsibilities:

Assessing and monitoring patient health status
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborating with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Ability to function as a charge nurse
Documenting patient care and progress
Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families

Skills:

As an RN in our hospital, you will utilize your strong clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, and excellent communication skills to provide exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient health status, and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans. Your attention to detail and ability to think critically will be essential in this role. Additionally, your ability to provide emotional support and education to patients and their families will be crucial in helping our patients achieve optimal health outcomes.
