As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Community Retail Pharmacist to join our team.

Position Overview: As a Community Retail Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in our pharmacy’s commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services to our community. You will be responsible for dispensing medications, counseling patients on proper medication use, collaborating with healthcare providers, and maintaining a positive and customer-friendly environment.

Responsibilities:

Medication Dispensing: Accurately and efficiently dispense prescription medications in accordance with federal and state laws.Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and storage of medications.

Patient Counseling: Provide personalized medication counseling to patients, addressing questions and concerns. Educate patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and adherence.

Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare providers to optimize patient care.Communicate with physicians to clarify prescription details and resolve any discrepancies.

Customer Service: Foster a welcoming and customer-friendly environment.Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Medication Management: Monitor medication inventories and order supplies as needed.Conduct regular quality checks to ensure the safety and efficacy of stocked medications.

Compliance: Stay up-to-date with federal and state pharmacy regulations.Adhere to and enforce pharmacy policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Wisconsin
Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, drug interactions, and pharmacy laws.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Customer-focused with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience:

State licensure as a Pharmacist.
Previous experience in a retail pharmacy setting is preferred.

Pay: $61.95 – $64.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
