> REF:#518a80a72a030936 Sunterra Springs is proud to announce a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant position. Sunterra Springs is a 38-bed luxury skilled nursing facility located in Dardenne Prarie, MO. The skilled nursing staff consists of trained professionals that are prepared to provide extraordinary care for even the most complex health conditions.

We’re excited to offer our therapists an opportunity to deliver patient centered care. We empower therapists to decide what their patients need, and allow enough time in their day to deliver. There are no 15 minute encounters, we do not schedule at 125% production, and we encourage our therapists to spend the time to ensure each patient receives the care they require.

Our Physical Therapist Assistant would be responsible for the following:

* Counsel patients and their families on what to do following treatment.
* Observe the patients they are working with before, during and after therapy and report notes to the Physical Therapist.
* Assign specific exercises for the patient and help the patients do these exercises.
* Use devices, such as walkers, and other equipment to help patients regain movement and reduce pain.
* Use a variety of techniques, including stretching exercises and massage, to treat patients.
* Assist patients when moving to and from the therapy area.

Pay: $35.00 per hour
