*Shift: Monday – Friday Days*
*Pay Range: $36.50- $48.00 *
*Master’s degree required. *
The *Clinical Registered Dietitian (RDN) *will provide clinical nutrition services, including nutritional assessments, modified diet formulation, self-management training and nutrition interventions to residents. Ensures resident satisfaction, quality care, regulatory agency compliance, and good public relations are achieved through the safe and efficient use of resources. Promotes a culture of wellness for residents

*Responsibilities:*
* Maintains registration status through the Commission of Dietetics
* *Clinical Registered Dietitian (RDN) *is responsible for nutrition screening, assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring, evaluation and plan of care as per AND’s RD scope of practice and company policies.
* Consult with physician and other health care personnel to determine nutritional needs and diet restrictions of residents
* Recognize and adopt activities appropriate to the specific needs of the resident population
* Inspect meals served for conformance to prescribed diets and for standards of palatability and appearance
* Instruct residents and their families in nutritional principles, dietary plans, food selection and preparation
* Engage in data collection for department-specific QAPI projects
* Maintain accurate records to meet regulatory agency guidelines
* Collaborate with Registered Dietetic Technicians in conducting nutritional screening and in providing nutritional care
* Collaborate with Clinical Nutrition Manager with preceptor responsibilities for Dietitian Intern’s professional learning experience
* Adhere to established systems and training programs to provide a safe working environment
* Function as a member of the interdisciplinary health care team to implement nutrition care plans
* Complies with all OSHA regulations and other local, state and federal government regulations
* Perform all other related duties
*Requirements*
* Bachelor degree in area related to field, required
* *Master degree *in area related to field, if eligibility for the RD exam established after January 1, 2024, required.
* Successfully passed Registered Dietitian exam
* 1-3 years of experience as a Clinical Dietitian, preferred
* Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel
* Demonstrates knowledge of specific issues directly related to age of patient and resident population
* Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics
* Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
* Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in English (both verbal and written) with clients/customers and staff
* Position requires the ability to work with confidential employee information
* Maintains friendly, efficient attitude towards customers, co-workers and clients
