We are looking for exceptional people to provide extraordinary care as a Registered Nurse in our Outpatient Services.

This professional provides planned and highly skilled nursing care for the immediate pre-operative and post-operative patients. Through continuous patient surveillance, allows for early recognition of medical or surgical complications, which may arise in any patient.

Hours: PRN (as needed) Monday – Friday between the hours of 4:45am – 5:30pm. Shift times are variable, minimum requirement of 6 shifts in a rolling 3 month period.

Admits patient to pre-op area, performs and documents assessments.
Receives patient from surgery and evaluates needs of patient, administering care accordingly.
Assesses and documents patient status. Evaluates nursing goals, care plan and outcomes.
Performs pre and post-operative assessments and teaching.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed to practice in the State of Nebraska as a Registered Nurse. Current licensure from a compact state requires Nebraska to be declared as their primary state of residence within thirty (30) days and must also obtain a Nebraska temporary permit or nursing license.
Current BLS required at time of hire.
ACLS and PALS required within 90 days of employment.
Previous post-surgical care experience preferred.
Prefer progressive and/or critical care experience.
