> REF:#1778df583f01305b *Position Overview:* The General Cardiologist is responsible for delivering comprehensive Cardiology services in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including evaluation and management, interpretation of cardiac diagnostic studies, transesophageal echocardiograms, and cardioversion procedures. The role involves collaboration with various medical specialties to provide high-quality patient care based on established standards.

*Work Schedule:*
* *Clinical Commitment:* Full-time position with 47 weeks of clinical work per year, following the St. Charles Medical Group tenured provider policy.
* *Hospital Service:* Monday to Friday with weekend call, shared equally among Non-Invasive Cardiologists. Weekday hospital duties include rounding, admissions, and discharges.
* *Clinic Schedule:* Four clinic days per week at the Bend outpatient clinic (8 AM – 5 PM), with at least 12 appointments daily, and outreach clinics based on clinical need.

*Clinical Responsibilities:*
* Examine, diagnose, and treat cardiac conditions.
* Interpret echocardiograms, stress tests, and electrocardiograms.
* Order and analyze laboratory and imaging tests.
* Prescribe medications and provide patient education.
* Maintain comprehensive patient records and communicate effectively with colleagues and patients.

*Administrative Responsibilities:*
* Document all patient interactions in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and ensure compliance with billing and regulatory standards.
* Attend physician meetings and engage in policy development.
* Pursue continuing medical education (CME) to maintain licensure and board certification.

*Qualifications:*
* *Education:* Graduation from an accredited medical school and completion of an accredited residency program in Cardiology, with board eligibility or certification.
* *Licensure:* Oregon MD/DO license, board certified or eligible in Cardiology, current ACLS certification, valid driver’s license, and unrestricted DEA number.
* *Experience:* Proven experience in hospital and outpatient Cardiology care.

Pay: From $550,447.00 per year
