> REF:#09dde0c5158ebf41 We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dispensing Audiologist or Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist to join our team. This is a fast-paced retail office where you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients who need hearing amplification . You will work closely with patients to provide comprehensive audiological evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans. Responsibilities:

– Conduct thorough audiological evaluations, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, and tympanometry

– Interpret test results and provide accurate diagnoses

– Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals

– Recommend and fit appropriate hearing aids or other assistive listening devices

– Provide counseling and education to patients and their families on hearing conservation, communication strategies, and the use of hearing aids

– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care



Experience:

– Experience Fitting Hearing Aids in a Retail Private Practice setting, preferred.

– Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to the auditory system

Skills:

– Excellent patient assessment skills

– Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient service

– Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records

– Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

– Licensed Audiologist or HIS in the state of TX or ability to obtain.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $82,813.00 – $89,811.00 per year
