RN COORDINATOR
RN Weekend warrior opportunities available as well as 8 hour and 12 hour shifts.
A Registered Nurse is responsible for providing direct nursing care and assessment to long term and rehabilitation residents. A Registered Nurse may supervise duties performed by LPN’s and CNA ‘s in a team care setting under the direction of the Nurse Manager., Nursing Supervisor and/or Director of Nursing.
Primary Responsibilities:
Supervises unit, Provide direct care and treatment to long term and rehabilitation residents
Provide assessment and documentation of residents under their care
Initiates and administers Intravenous treatments
Communicates with the Nursing team and medical team as appropriate
Reviews and evaluates the resident care plan
Transcribes Physician orders
May assist in orientating new staff
Maintains competency in all site-specific tasks required by the facility
Additional responsibilities that are within the scope of practice
Required:
Active NYS Registered Nurse License required
