Coastal Clinical Director of Children’s Services- This position reports to the Executive Vice President and is responsible for all aspects of Bay State Community Services (BSCS) Children’s Services in the Coastal Area. As the Coastal Clinical Director of Children’s Services this position will be responsible for the oversight of the Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI) services, Norfolk County District Attorney Clinical Response Team, DCF Support and Stabilization Services as well as any other coastal area specialized children’s programs. In addition to the current programming this position will have the opportunity to assist with the expansion of child services in the coastal area.
This position will act as the liaison with all funders and develop strong working relationships with the various child serving teams as well as understand and ensure contract expectations, quality assurance, and quality supervision.
What You Will be Doing to Make a Difference…
Responsible for ensuring that BSCS Coastal Child Serving programs are offer quality services, ensure proper staffing, and compliance with contract requirements
Developing a positive and collaborative relationship with Funders including but not limited to the Department of Children and Families, MASS HEALTH, and the Norfolk County District Attorney.
Interview, orient and supervise staff; responsible for all personnel actions such as hiring, exiting, promotions, wage and salary and progressive discipline actions; conduct annual performance evaluations and review job descriptions
Maintain effective and positive working relationships with referral sources, community members, donors, volunteers, colleagues, supervisor, employees and other agency programs
Working with children, adolescents, adults, and families who may represent varying ethnicities, cultures, and religions; educational level and socioeconomic status is also variable
Develop and monitor a balanced budget; meet program budget goals
Have a comprehensive understanding and oversight of program contracts and proposals to include monitoring of program utilization and performance goals; develop working knowledge of payers and community providers
Promote and lead agency culture of learning and respect to others as well as agency mission and strategic plan; empower staff in meeting the agency mission
Follow all agency policies and procedures
Ensure timely documentation of quality measures including incident reports, program effectiveness, satisfaction surveys and outcome measures
Participate with proposal grant writing, fundraising, marketing, recruiting, program development or other administrative activities as needed
Attend and participate in meetings to include: facilitation of staff meetings, active participation in Leadership Team and other internal and external meetings as required
Attend mandatory trainings

Requirements:
Job Qualifications/Credentials
Must have conferred Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Psychology or Marriage and Family Therapy
Must have an independent clinical license within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts i.e. LMFT, LICSW, or LMHC
Must have experience in training in treating children who have experienced trauma (CF-CBT- preferred)
Two years clinical supervisory experience with children experiencing behavioral health services
Two years administrative experience involving funding and regulation
Minimum 5 years clinical experience
Experience with program development and supervision
