The Clinical Nurse in the Medical/Surgical Hospitalist department provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness, recognizing the value of each team member’s work.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, procedures, and documenting care according to regulations.
Evaluates diagnostic tests, assesses patient needs and responses, and applies sound judgment in care decisions.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administering medications as prescribed.
Collaborates with the nursing team to develop care plans and guides ancillary staff, maintaining professional standards.
