Job Description
This PRN night position supports the new Transitional Care Unit, focusing on boarding patients in the ED awaiting inpatient beds.
Responsibilities include providing patient-centered care, educating patients and families, ensuring safety, developing and communicating care plans, and assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.
Preferred experience includes ED and/or inpatient care.
Minimum requirements are RN licensure with a nursing diploma or associate’s degree; a bachelor’s degree and under 2 years of experience are preferred.
