Job Description

The Clinical Nurse plays a vital role in providing compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.

  • Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, and documenting care according to policies and regulations.
  • Evaluates diagnostic tests, assesses patient needs, and applies sound judgment in care decisions.
  • Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administering prescribed medications.
  • Collaborates with the team to develop patient care plans and guides ancillary staff while maintaining professional standards.
  • Requirements: graduation from an accredited nursing program, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of Med-Surg or Progressive Care experience.
  • Must possess strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of quality improvement principles.
