Job Description
Seeking a full-time RN (36 hours/week/night shift) for the Neonatal ICU, with new grads welcome.
Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and document care.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assess patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provide primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Administer medications as ordered and collaborate on care plans.
Guide ancillary staff and maintain professional nursing standards.
Minimum qualifications include a diploma, associate’s, or baccalaureate degree in nursing, current NYS RN license, BLS and NRP certifications, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
Knowledge of quality improvement principles and problem-solving is preferred.
