Clinical Nurse – Med Surg Float Pool

Job Description

This role is for a Med Surg Float Pool Nurse working in the Float Pool department on a 12-day day shift, with a salary range of $72,072 to $74,229.

The nurse floats to medicine, post-surgical, and emergency departments, assessing and managing patient care throughout their stay, focusing on discharge planning and transitions.

Essential duties include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, providing emergency care, and collaborating with the team to develop care plans.

Qualifications include a nursing diploma, current RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, 1-3 years of clinical experience, and telemetry or ICU experience. The role requires ongoing education and adherence to confidentiality and privacy standards.
