Job Description
The Float Pool Nurse covers medicine, post-surgical, and emergency departments, assessing and managing patient care throughout their stay with a focus on discharge planning.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing primary and emergency care.
The role involves collaborating with the nursing team to create and execute patient care plans, guiding ancillary staff, and ensuring quality standards.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical experience, including at least 1 year in telemetry or ICU.
Salary ranges from $72,072.00 to $74,229.26, with an hourly range of $36.73 to $60.93.
