Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Cardio Pulmonary Surgery department provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, and documenting care.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests; assesses patient needs and responses; applies sound nursing judgment; provides primary and emergency care.
Collaborates with the team to develop care plans and guides ancillary staff.
Requirements include a degree in nursing, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and quality improvement skills are essential.
This role may involve handling sensitive information, requiring adherence to privacy and confidentiality standards.
