Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Float Pool provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment for management decisions.
Offers primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses, collaborating with the team to develop care plans.
Supervises ancillary staff while maintaining professional standards.
Requires a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Must possess strong communication, organization, and quality improvement skills.
The role involves handling sensitive information with confidentiality and compliance to privacy regulations.
