Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Float Pool provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, and evaluating patient conditions.
They assess needs, interpret diagnostic tests, and make sound nursing judgments for primary and emergency care.
Collaborating with the team, they create care plans, guide ancillary staff, and ensure professional standards.
Requirements include a nursing degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
