Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Critical Care Float Pool provides compassionate patient care through kindness and active listening.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care following policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
Administers medications as ordered and collaborates with the team to develop care plans.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
The role may involve access to sensitive information, requiring confidentiality and adherence to privacy regulations.
