Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Critical Care Float Pool provides compassionate patient care, demonstrating kindness and active listening to patients, families, and colleagues.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and tests, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment for management decisions.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Administers medications as prescribed.
Collaborates with the team to develop patient care plans.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
This role may involve handling sensitive information in compliance with privacy laws and institutional policies.
