Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care unit provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, and performing treatments and tests.
Evaluates and interprets diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions and collaborates with the team to develop care plans.
Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses, administering medications as ordered.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and quality improvement skills are required.
The role may involve handling sensitive information, with strict adherence to privacy policies.
