Job Description
The Post Anesthesia Care clinical Nurse provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents as per regulations.
Evaluates diagnostic tests and assesses patient needs and responses.
Uses sound nursing judgment for care management, providing primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop a Plan of Care and supervises ancillary staff.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree, current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organization, and quality improvement knowledge are essential.
This role may involve access to sensitive information, requiring adherence to confidentiality policies.
