Job Description
The Post Anesthesia Care clinical Nurse provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment in both primary and emergency situations.
Collaborates with the nursing team to develop patient care plans and guides ancillary staff to maintain professional standards.
Requires a nursing diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree, NYS RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Possesses 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care with strong communication, organizational, and quality improvement skills.
The role involves handling sensitive information in compliance with privacy regulations.
