Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care unit provides compassionate patient care, demonstrating kindness and active listening.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, and documents treatments.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop care plans and guides ancillary staff.
Requires a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), current NYS RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification.
1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and quality improvement skills.
This role involves handling sensitive information in compliance with privacy regulations.
