Job Description
The Post Anesthesia Care Nurse provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs, evaluates responses, and applies sound nursing judgment for both emergency and routine care.
Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and follow individualized care plans, guiding ancillary staff as needed.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing diploma or degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organization, and quality improvement skills are required.
The role may involve handling sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
