The Post Anesthesia Care clinical nurse provides compassionate patient care, ensuring a supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, and documents care according to policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the nursing team to develop patient care plans and guides ancillary staff.
Qualifications include a nursing degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organization, and quality improvement skills are essential.
The role involves handling sensitive information securely and in compliance with privacy regulations.
