Job Description
Join the Critical Care Float Pool to gain experience in Neuro-Surgical Trauma ICU, Medical ICU, Coronary Care, Cardiovascular ICU, and MSICU, with opportunities to develop skills in Emergency Department and neuro-progressive care areas.
Provide compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, and documenting procedures.
Assess and interpret diagnostic tests, evaluate patient needs, and apply sound nursing judgment.
Administer medications, provide emergency and primary care, and collaborate on patient care plans.
Supervise ancillary staff and maintain professional standards.
Requirements include a nursing degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and quality improvement skills are essential.
This role involves working in a Level I trauma center, with a focus on providing high-quality, compassionate care in a dynamic environment.
