Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Birth Place – Gyn department provides compassionate patient care through kindness and active listening.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents care following policies and regulations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
Provides primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
Administers medications as ordered and collaborates with the team to create a Plan of Care.
Directs ancillary personnel and maintains professional nursing standards.
The role may involve access to sensitive information, with responsibilities to protect confidentiality according to policies and regulations.
