Job Description
The clinical Nurse in the Gyn department provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness, contributing to a supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues.
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures, and documents accordingly.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, using sound nursing judgment for care management.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Administers medications as prescribed.
Collaborates with the nursing team to develop patient Care Plans.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
This role may require access to sensitive information, with strict adherence to confidentiality and privacy regulations.
