The Clinical Nurse provides compassionate, patient-centered care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating diagnostic tests. They assess patient needs, apply sound nursing judgment, and deliver primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses. The role involves collaborating with the nursing team to develop care plans, directing ancillary staff, and maintaining professional standards. Qualifications include a nursing degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
