Job Description

The Pediatric ICU night shift RN assesses, plans, and manages patient care, focusing on progress toward discharge and transitions during care episodes.

  • Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and evaluating patient responses.

  • Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, collaborates with the team to develop care plans, and guides ancillary staff.

  • Requires a nursing diploma or degree, current NYS RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification. Previous nursing assistant experience is preferred.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of quality improvement, applies sound nursing judgment, and maintains professional standards.

  • Salary range: $76,396.32 – $126,730.61, with an hourly range of $36-$40. This role involves sensitive information requiring strict confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations. Equal opportunity employer.
