Job Description
The Pediatric ICU Clinical Nurse provides assessment, planning, coordination, and management of patient care during the entire care episode, focusing on discharge readiness and transitions.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing primary/emergency care.
Collaborates with the nursing team to develop and follow a Plan of Care, guides ancillary staff, and ensures high standards of professional nursing.
Qualifications include a nursing diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, with preferred experience as a PCA or nursing assistant.
Must demonstrate ongoing education, knowledge of quality improvement, and adhere to confidentiality policies, including HIPAA regulations.
Salary range is $76,396.32 – $126,730.61, with an hourly rate of $36-$40, working night shifts in the Pediatric ICU.
