Job Description

This role involves the care of pediatric patients undergoing chronic dialysis, including hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.

  • Collaborates with Pediatric Nephrologists and hemodialysis technicians to provide treatment and ensure patient safety.

  • Responsible for care coordination among patients, families, healthcare teams, and admitting units.

  • Provides on-call coverage to manage and triage pediatric patients, report regulatory requirements, and ensure monthly quality compliance and quality improvement initiatives.

  • Works during day shifts and may handle off-hours calls, with a focus on regulatory and confidentiality standards, including HIPAA compliance.
