The Clinical Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care unit provides compassionate patient care through active listening and kindness.

Implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments, and documents care according to policies and regulations.

Assesses patient needs, interprets diagnostic tests, and applies sound nursing judgment for care management.

Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administering medications as ordered.

Collaborates with the team to develop and implement patient care plans and guides ancillary staff.

Requires graduation from a recognized nursing program, a valid NYS RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.

Must have 1-3 years clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, with strong communication and organizational skills.

The role involves sensitive information management, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
