Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care unit provides compassionate, patient-centered care through active listening and kindness.
Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, assessing patient needs, and providing primary and emergency care.
Collaborates with the team to develop care plans, guides ancillary staff, and maintains professional standards.
Minimum qualifications include a nursing diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required.
The role involves access to sensitive information, with strict adherence to privacy and confidentiality policies.
