Job Description
The Post Anesthesia Care clinical Nurse provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applies sound nursing judgment, and manages both primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop and guide patient care plans, directs ancillary staff, and maintains professional standards.
Requires a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), NYS RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Must have 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, with strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
The role emphasizes creating a caring environment and safeguarding sensitive information according to policies and regulations.
