Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care unit provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, and performing treatments and tests.
They assess and interpret diagnostic tests to evaluate patient conditions and respond accordingly.
The role involves providing primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses, collaborating with the team to develop care plans, and guiding ancillary staff.
Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, a valid RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care is required, along with strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
