Job Description
The Post Anesthesia Care clinical Nurse provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating patient conditions through diagnostic tests.
Assesses and responds to patient needs, applying sound nursing judgment for primary and emergency care.
Collaborates with the team to develop a Plan of Care and guides ancillary staff to maintain professional standards.
Requires a nursing diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate degree, active NYS RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Must have 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, with strong communication and organizational skills.
Handles sensitive information per privacy regulations, ensuring confidentiality and security.
