Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in Post Anesthesia Care provides compassionate, patient-centered care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment for both primary and emergency interventions.
Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and follow individualized care plans, directing ancillary staff as needed.
Requires a diploma, associate, or baccalaureate nursing degree, a current NYS RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Must have 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, with strong communication and organizational skills.
The role involves maintaining patient safety, adhering to regulatory standards, and protecting sensitive health information.
