Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in Post Anesthesia Care provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, applying sound judgment for management decisions.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, collaborating with the team to develop care plans.
Guides ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
Requirements include a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), current NYS RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Strong communication, organization, and quality improvement knowledge are essential.
The role necessitates adherence to confidentiality and information security policies.
