Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care unit provides compassionate, patient-centered care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating patient conditions.
Assesses needs and responses to care, applies sound nursing judgment, and provides primary/emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
Collaborates with the team to develop and follow a Plan of Care, directs ancillary staff, and maintains professional standards.
Requires graduation from a recognized nursing program, a current NYS RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Minimum 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care is preferred.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential.
The role involves handling sensitive patient information with confidentiality and adherence to privacy regulations.
