Job Description
The Clinical Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care unit provides compassionate patient care, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Assesses patient needs and responses to care, using sound nursing judgment for treatment decisions.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, collaborating with the team to develop care plans.
Supervises ancillary staff and maintains professional standards.
Requires a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), current RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification.
Has 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
Possesses strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of quality improvement principles.
This role may involve handling sensitive information, with strict adherence to confidentiality policies.
